This one belongs to a company rather than to me. In March 2018, Citus Health took the top prize at the fourth annual Healthcare Innovation Showcase, run by the New Jersey Innovation Institute and the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute.
I co-founded Citus Health and led the technology. The award went to the product, which is the right way around.

What the judges were looking at
Citus Health was built for home based care: real time collaboration between patients, families, and clinical staff outside the four walls of a facility. Text, video, forms, signatures, and escalation, all inside something a nurse could actually use during a visit.
The interesting engineering problem was not the messaging. It was doing conversational workflow while staying compliant, auditable, and usable by people who did not want another app.
